Canara Bank and Bank of Baroda have raised their Marginal Cost of Funds-Based Lending Rates (MCLR) by up to 10 basis points on select tenures, effective August 12, 2026. The move follows the RBI's decision to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%. Borrowers with MCLR-linked loans may see higher EMIs or extended tenures.
