CEC Gyanesh Kumar Boosts Global Election Diplomacy

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has met ambassadors and high commissioners from 41 countries since mid-July to strengthen international electoral cooperation. The meetings, held under his role as chair of International IDEA, focus on clean electoral rolls, transparent elections, and technology. He plans to meet representatives of 81 countries by September and has invited them to a conference in January 2027.
