Appeals court backs Trump in gender-affirming care subpoena fight

A divided federal appeals court ruled Friday that President Donald Trump's goal of ending gender-affirming care is not improper and cannot be used to quash a Justice Department subpoena against a provider. The 9th Circuit panel reversed a lower court ruling, sending the case back for further arguments.
