Jharkhand protesters escalate stir, plan CM residence gherao

Jharkhand student protesters, on the 23rd day of their agitation over alleged recruitment exam irregularities, have announced plans to gherao Chief Minister Hemant Soren's residence on August 20. Hunger-striking protester Prem Nayak, on day 13 of his fast, said his condition is critical but refused treatment, alleging government apathy. Protesters are demanding cancellation of JPSC and JSSC exams, a CBI inquiry, and Soren's resignation.
