Indian Army assault dog Tyson, a German Shepherd with 2 Para Special Forces, received a Mention-in-Despatches from President Droupadi Murmu for bravery during Operation Trashi-I in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite being shot in the leg, he helped troops neutralize three terrorists. He was one of 89 honorees on Independence Day eve.
