The Artemis II crew, including pilot Victor Glover, thanked NASA and contractors before 8,500 people at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Aug. 3. The 10-day mission, which launched April 1 and splashed down April 10, was the first crewed flight beyond low Earth orbit in 53 years. Glover expressed awe at being trusted to fly Orion manually.
