Tupac Shakur murder trial opens in Las Vegas

Opening statements began Monday in the trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, charged with murder in the 1996 drive-by shooting of rapper Tupac Shakur. Davis, 63, pleaded not guilty and faces life in prison if convicted. The long-unsolved case gripped the hip-hop community, with no arrest until Davis's 2023 indictment.
