Karnataka launches QR code system for food, drug complaints

Karnataka launched a QR code-based grievance system on Monday to report food and drug safety violations, the first such initiative in India. Health Minister UT Khader said codes will be displayed at eateries and drug stores, allowing citizens to lodge complaints. The move follows inspections that seized expired products and found unsafe shawarma and kebab samples.
