Maharashtra FDA warns Bollywood stars of fine over surrogate ads

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe warned that Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff could face fines up to Rs 10 lakh if their responses to notices over alleged surrogate advertisements for a chewing elaichi brand are unsatisfactory. The notices were issued on August 14, citing potential violations of the Food Safety and Standards Act.
