Oxfam warns on shop future amid online competition

Oxfam says it cannot guarantee the future of its high street shops and is reviewing its three warehouses in Batley, Bicester, and Milton Keynes, citing dwindling donations and competition from online secondhand sellers. The charity has no immediate closure plans, but insiders fear up to 100 of its 500-plus UK outlets could close. The review follows losses of over £2m in its trading arm.
