The Supreme Court has constituted a five-member High-Powered Expert Committee, headed by former judge Justice R Subhash Reddy, to investigate allegations of excessive force by police against NEET protesters in Delhi and other states. The committee will also examine violence against police and prioritize cases of harassment of female protesters. Evidence, including CCTV and body-cam footage, has been ordered preserved.
