Delhi Master Plan 2047 unveiled with 40 lakh new homes

Delhi Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar unveiled the Delhi Master Plan 2047, envisioning over 40 lakh new homes, with a focus on affordable housing. The plan includes reduced minimum area requirements for redevelopment, 18 lakh affordable houses along Metro corridors, and improved living conditions in unauthorised colonies. It aims for inclusive, sustainable growth despite Delhi's 1,484 sq km area constraints.
