BHU Gets Rs 15 Crore ICMR Grant for Health Research

Banaras Hindu University has received about Rs 15 crore from the Indian Council of Medical Research for six biomedical projects targeting national health priorities like gallbladder cancer, antimicrobial resistance, and pediatric septic shock. The funding will support cohort studies, clinical trials, and biomarker discovery, aiming to translate research into better patient care.
