Pakistan's jailed former PM Imran Khan was transferred from Adiala jail to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad under heavy security, complying with a Supreme Court order. The 73-year-old, imprisoned since 2023 on corruption charges he calls politically motivated, will be examined by a medical board including his personal physician. He is to remain hospitalized until at least his next hearing on September 16.
