China accepts Evergrande bankruptcy case after founder's life sentence

Chinese authorities are moving to wind down Evergrande's mainland property unit after a Guangzhou court accepted a bankruptcy liquidation case, a day after founder Hui Ka Yan was sentenced to life in prison. The company collapsed with about $300 billion in liabilities, and its liquidation is expected to be lengthy.
