India, Mauritius sign five-year fuel supply pact

India and Mauritius have signed a five-year fuel supply agreement under which Indian Oil Corporation will meet Mauritius' entire import requirement of petrol, diesel, and aviation turbine fuel. The pact, exchanged during Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri's visit, aims to ensure assured supplies and reduce price volatility. A separate MoU expands cooperation in oil, gas, and biofuels.
