A father was reprimanded by police after leaving his 7-year-old son alone on Mount Fuji for several hours with only a soft drink and snack. The boy was found by mountain hut staff in foggy, rainy conditions at over 2,000m. The father, who continued climbing with his elder son, apologized for the 'rash' decision.
