Nila Vikhe Patil elected to Swedish Parliament from Stockholm

Nila Vikhe Patil, daughter of Maharashtra educationist Ashok Vikhe Patil, has been elected to Sweden's 349-member Riksdag from Stockholm City. The Green Party politician, born in Sweden and raised partly in Ahmednagar, previously served as a political adviser in the Swedish Prime Minister's Office. She plans to focus on children's welfare and the environment.
