Mayawati Names Ishan Anand for BSP Role, Bars Akash

Mayawati announced that Ishan Anand, son of her brother Anand Kumar, will be given a role in the BSP, while Akash Anand and his sister Deepika remain excluded. She cited Akash's conduct after marriage and his ties to father-in-law Ashok Siddharth as reasons. Ishan faces expulsion if he commits any anti-party act.
