Kerala's KSRTC is launching an ad-funded digital radio network across its 5,700 buses, serving 21 lakh daily commuters with music, weather updates, travel advisories and staff stories. The service, backed by Transport Minister C P John, runs 6am to 9pm with no political or religious content, and follows a ridership surge driven by the Priyadarshini free travel scheme for women.
