US Prepares Sweeping Sanctions Against ICC

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing broad sanctions on the International Criminal Court that would bar most transactions with the tribunal after a six- to seven-month grace period. The measures, which could be announced around the UN General Assembly, target the institution itself, potentially disrupting its finances, IT services, and investigations. Washington has already sanctioned over a dozen ICC officials.
