BJP legislators staged a protest in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on the first day of the autumn session in Srinagar, led by Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma. They demanded regularisation of daily-wage workers, higher honorariums for National Health Mission employees, and withdrawal of the electricity tariff hike. The disruption occurred during Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's Zero Hour response. The PDP accused the BJP of wasting the House's time.
