IMMA Proposes 'One Nation, One License' for Fertilizer Sector

The Indian Micro-Fertilizers Manufacturers Association (IMMA) has proposed a 'One Nation, One License' digital framework for fertilizer licensing, a uniform 5% GST on all FCO-notified plant nutrition products, and freer exports of non-subsidised specialty fertilizers. The proposals were discussed at the 3rd IMMA Industry-Government Roundtable in New Delhi, where government officials indicated the digital licensing concept could be considered.
