IIT Bombay Student's Suicide Sparks Caste Bias Probe

Sahil Ravindra Wakode, a 22-year-old second-year BTech student at IIT Bombay, was found dead in his hostel room on Friday. His father alleges caste-based harassment by a professor and the administration, leading to an FIR under the SC/ST Act. IIT Bombay removed Prof Suryanarayana Doolla as Dean (Student Affairs).
