Congress Nandigram Candidate Milan Pradhan Remanded in 2007 Cases

A West Bengal court on Monday remanded Congress's Nandigram bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan to judicial custody until October 5 in a 2007 Arms Act case. He was already in custody until October 3 in four other 2007 cases. The arrest, just before the October 6 bypoll, has sparked a political row, with Congress planning to move the Calcutta High Court for bail.
