Dhoni Key in Zaheer Khan's Appointment as CSK Head Coach

Chennai Super Kings have appointed Zaheer Khan as head coach for IPL 2027, ending Stephen Fleming's 18-year tenure. MS Dhoni, entrusted by CSK ownership to find Fleming's successor, recommended Zaheer after two months of consultations with owner Rupa Gurunath and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. Zaheer becomes CSK's first Indian head coach and third overall.
