Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro are statistically tied in two new polls ahead of the October 4 first round. A Quaest poll shows Bolsonaro at 42% and Lula at 41% in a runoff, while a BTG Pactual/Nexus poll has Lula at 46% and Bolsonaro at 45%. The race has narrowed since August.
