Google Fined €403 Million by Irish Regulator Over Location Data

Ireland's Data Protection Commission fined Google €403 million for breaching GDPR in its handling of location data through Web & App Activity, Location History, and Location Accuracy. The six-year investigation found Google's processing was not lawful, fair, or transparent. Google must comply within six months and says it has since updated its policies.
