Delhi Sets Up 110 Collection Centres, 81 Ponds for Ganesh Idol Immersion

The Delhi government has set up 110 collection centres for the dignified disposal of religious material and prepared 81 artificial ponds for eco-friendly Ganesh idol immersion. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta urged devotees to avoid immersing idols in the Yamuna and to prefer eco-friendly idols over Plaster of Paris. The initiative aims to balance religious faith with environmental protection.
