UN chief says superpowers cannot solve world's problems

In his final UN General Assembly address, António Guterres warned that superpowers alone lack the military, economic and technological power to guarantee security or solve global problems. He said humanity faces an unprecedented convergence of threats while mechanisms for collective action are under growing strain, urging a more representative multilateral system centred on the UN.
