More than 90 lawsuits have been filed in the US against GLP-1 drugmakers Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, claiming their diabetes and weight-loss drugs cause NAION, a rare eye condition that can lead to permanent vision loss. Novo Nordisk denies the claims and says it is vigorously contesting them. The FDA is investigating the link, but no warnings have been added.
