North Korea successfully test-launched a new weapon on Sunday, Sept. 20, state media KCNA announced Tuesday. Photos suggest a short-range missile topped with a hypersonic glide vehicle, according to Seoul-based NK News. Hypersonic weapons fly at least five times the speed of sound and are highly maneuverable, making them harder to intercept than ballistic missiles.
