Yemen's Saudi-backed government forces say they have taken full control of Mount Qarfan in Taiz after fierce battles with Houthi fighters. A Taiz military axis commander said five Houthis were killed and 20 wounded. The highlands overlook Red Sea valleys near the Bab al-Mandeb strait, where fighting has intensified.
