Mamata Demands CEC's Arrest, Fresh Bengal Polls

Mamata Banerjee demanded the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and fresh West Bengal assembly elections using the pre-SIR voter list, alleging the BJP and poll panel "looted" this year's polls. Her call followed a report that two election commissioners red-flagged SIR issues, including name deletions, at least 14 times. The Election Commission says SIR decisions were unanimous.
