The International Criminal Court has convicted Mahamat Said Abdel Kani, a former Seleka commander, of crimes against humanity including torture at a detention facility in Bangui during the Central African Republic's 2013 civil war. He was acquitted of three war crimes charges. Said, 56, denied the charges and will be sentenced later.
