Morgan Stanley Staffer Accidentally Leaks Internal Deal List to Clients

A Morgan Stanley staffer mistakenly emailed clients an internal document listing over 100 potential investment-banking deals across Asia, including IPO candidates and private equity-backed transactions. The banker, Mohamed Atmani, intended to send a client-facing version but sent the internal file with price-sensitive information instead. Morgan Stanley said it took prompt steps to address the inadvertent sharing and is engaging with relevant parties.
