Masoud Pezeshkian told the UN General Assembly that Iran will never "bend the knee" to US pressure, after Donald Trump threatened to "annihilate" the Islamic Republic if no peace deal is reached. Pezeshkian said Iran is ready for diplomacy but demanded an end to the US blockade of its shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Indirect US-Iran talks were held in New York.
