FSSAI Proposes Curbs on Analogue Paneer Sale and Ads

India's food regulator FSSAI has proposed restricting the manufacture and sale of analogue products under the name 'paneer' to prevent consumers from being misled about their composition. The draft amendment would require products licensed under the 'Analogue in Dairy Context' category to drop the term from names, labels and marketing. Many states have already banned analogue paneer.
