Dozens of delegates walked out of the UN General Assembly hall on Thursday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his speech, a protest encouraged by the Palestinian Mission to the UN. Empty seats included Saudi Arabia, Iran, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Algeria. Netanyahu dismissed those leaving as "phony human rights protesters" and "moral cowards," while urging Jews worldwide to stand proud against antisemitism.
