The Delhi High Court on Friday directed Meta to remove within 24 hours an AI-morphed image of a woman with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and granted her police protection after she reported threats. Justice Girish Kathpalia issued notices to four Cockroach Janta Party leaders—Saurav Das, Abhijit Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Ratna Singh—over the deepfake. The matter will be heard next on October 14.
