Google announced that a prototype satellite for its Project Suncatcher AI constellation will launch on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission, scheduled for Oct. 1. Built by Planet, the spacecraft carries four Google tensor processing units and will orbit for a year, testing how the chips handle space radiation and heat dissipation.
