Chidambaram Slams CEC Gyanesh Kumar, Demands Resignation Over SIR

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of acting unconstitutionally over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and demanded his resignation. He challenged the poll body to publish files after reports that two election commissioners objected to decisions at least 14 times. The Election Commission insists all orders carry full legal sanction.
