UNICEF: Yemen fighting displaces 71,000 children

Escalating fighting in Yemen has displaced about 71,000 children in three weeks, most uprooted from or within Taiz, UNICEF said Friday. More than a quarter of nearly 2,900 children screened were acutely malnourished, 200 severely. UNICEF verified at least 15 children killed and 14 injured since early September, and 243 schools closed, affecting nearly 140,000 students.
