A Delhi Police constable, Amarjeet, died after being shot during alleged celebratory firing at a jalwa pujan ceremony in Hansi, Haryana. Two individuals, including a Haryana Police officer, fired shots; Amarjeet was hit in the leg and bled excessively. A case has been registered under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. Investigations are ongoing.
