Microsoft Adds Coding Tool and AI Agent to Copilot

Microsoft unveiled new Copilot features, including a coding tool called Code and an always-on AI agent named Autopilot. Code, powered by GitHub Copilot, lets users build apps via natural language and will roll out to early-access customers this month. Autopilot, a revamped Scout agent, enters private preview with its own identity and permissions. Microsoft also embedded Word, Excel, and PowerPoint directly within Copilot.
