Displaced Palestinians in West Bank Face Deepening Poverty

More than 33,000 Palestinians remain displaced from the Jenin, Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, more than 20 months after Israeli forces emptied them. UNRWA calls it the largest single forced displacement since 1967. Most displaced families have no income, and over 80 percent now pay rent for the first time.
