Filmmaker Jon Watts is set to direct the first film in a new Star Wars trilogy being developed by writer Simon Kinberg, according to reports. Watts previously worked on the Star Wars series Skeleton Crew and is known for directing Tom Holland's Spider-Man films. Lucasfilm has not officially announced the project.
