Hunkkaar review: Aneet Padda shines as survivor Meenu

Hunkkaar: The Roar, a six-episode JioHotstar series created by Nitya Mehra and Karan Darius Kapadia, follows 17-year-old Meenu Rawat (Aneet Padda) as she accuses spiritual leader Sunil 'Baapji' Chakosi of sexual assault. The show focuses on the survivor navigating police, media, and a society that scrutinises her, rather than on the godman. Raghubir Yadav plays Baapji, with Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Arjun Mathur in supporting roles.
