Gadkari: 100% Ethanol Cars May Launch in October

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said 100% ethanol flex-fuel vehicles from Tata, Suzuki, Toyota and Mahindra could launch in October, with running costs equivalent to petrol at Rs 25 per litre. India has already met its 20% ethanol blending target for 2025-26, up from under 1.5% in 2013-14.
