Assam Police Detain CJP Leader Ashutosh Ranka Ahead of Meet

Assam Police detained Cockroach Janata Party co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka and his team in Guwahati on Sunday, according to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke. Ranka had arrived to attend a regional volunteers' meeting and planned school visits and meetings with families affected by the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. No immediate statement was issued by Assam Police.
